Born in San Ciro de Acosta, San Luis Potosi, Mexico, and adopted by my aunt and uncle Margarita and Rosalio Banda, I became a U.S. Citizen at 9. After earning my Bachelor’s and MBA degrees, I held various leadership positions in the transportation and distribution industries for over 20 years. As a Life & Health Insurance agent, I transferred many skill sets, including being a servant leader and providing excellent customer service to my clients.
I hold various leadership positions in my church and community. I serve as a Fourth Degree Faithful Navigator with the Knights of Columbus, Director of Altar Servers, and a council member at Our Lady of the Holy Rosary in Mission, Texas. I have been married to Mariluz Banda since 1998 and am raising two wonderful boys, Raul Adan (18) and Raul Adrian (16). My faith and family are my priorities.
Growing up in humble beginnings, I have never forgotten the community that gave me so much love. I look forward to helping and educating families in my community and meeting their health and financial needs.
