Aloha, my name is Autumn Soda and I am excited to start a new career in assisting others in their journey of better understanding health insurance. Three years ago, my mom and stepdad left Hawaii for good to pursue a better life on the mainland. Shortly after their arrival, my mom had a stroke, and we realized very quickly that we, as a family, did not understand much of the Medicare world and the support needed to guide through all the issues my mom continued to have. Then, my stepdad had a heart attack that required immediate open-heart surgery, and we found ourselves continuing down a path of unknowns in health insurance. I was convinced that we could not be the only family trying to understand the navigation of health insurance, so I decided to start educating myself. I seem to find more people in my generation that seem to be working with how to best support their aging parents.
I want to help others on this journey and will continue to learn as much as I can to support the needs of each person I encounter.
I come from over 39 years in the Scuba Diving industry and have an extreme passion for the ocean and conservation of our earth. I am also very dedicated to service and have been the committee chair for a Scout Troop on Oahu for many years and currently on the Board of Directors for Malama Kai Foundation.
I look forward to a new journey of helping others in a new field. I have a lot to give and share.
