Growing up in the breathtaking scenery of Colorado, I discovered my love for sports early on. Balancing academics and athletics throughout college, I developed resilience and motivation that extends beyond the playing field. My experience as a collegiate athlete instilled in me leadership skills, a strong worth ethic, determination and a deep appreciate for teamwork.
After earning my Bachelor’s degree in Exercise Science and Sports Management from Adams State University, I worked for a few years at a nursing home where I gained a deep love and respect for seniors. I loved hearing incredible, heart-wrenching stories from the lives of the residents and their families. I soon felt compelled to serve others on a deeper level, which led me to Mexico as a missionary where I served as a house mother to nine boys at an orphanage. Those amazing boys and the experience in general transformed my life. During my seven years living in Mexico, I embraced new adventures, became fluent in Spanish, formed a beautiful life with my husband, and became a proud mother of an energetic and fun little boy.
My family lives in beautiful Grand Junction, Colorado, where I am a caregiver for my elderly father, attend our church and serve the local community. Surrounded by beautiful mountain ranges and being only a short drive away from the awe-inspiring Colorado National Monument, I enjoy hiking, camping, kayaking and exploring the beauty around me. My deep-rooted love for faith, family and the great outdoors is lived out in my every-day life.
I find fulfillment in nurturing and supporting those around me. My genuine passion for helping others navigates every facet of my life and work. I have a strong background in Medicare coverage, individual and group health insurance and life insurance. Knowing every family and individual is very different, I find joy problem-solving with my clients to find the right coverage for their unique situation.
